My son is in pre School now. Just turned 6. I don't know the procedure exactly but it seems after landing there we have to apply there for admission in school and the concerned department will give us some school options in our localiity. Then we can take admission there because it's a open study permit

Ok. I thought that one can get study permit only after getting admission into canadian school. I already have multiple entry TRV for whole family, so planning to send my son for study. Some consultants told me that you need to get you son first admitted in Canadian school n then apply for study permit. My son is in 9th class. What is the validity of your son' study permit?

CIC processing times says 39 days and its 41st Working day today since applied, no updates. Waiting anxiously.

since the application is online i will be getting ppr. is there any particular time when they shoot pprs. any one know about this.

Linked application online: Status was submitted on first page and on details next page - eligibility review not started yet

I don't think they work on Saturday.. also Monday is labor day so most probably next working day would be Tuesday.

Just got to know about Monday holiday..
