Hi...it says on cic website that it takes 28 days for visitor visa roughly time. Do we count 28 days from the day we submit file or from day we get Acknowledgement Email stating UCI number?

I did not get any UCI number in my acknowledgment email . Just the tracking id. Submitted on July 5. No response till now

Just want to share my experience guys. I applied for my parents visitor visa on 4th July. It was processed at BangaloreVAC.
Elgibility review started on: 15th August.
Visa approved: 16th August

what does active review mean? i received an email from london VO which states my application is under active review.

Application Approved & passport submission: 16th August
