Hello friends, I am being laid-off currently and applying for my widowed mom's visitor (TRV) visa. Do someone have a quick example of how I should word my part of the invitation letter?
For Example, Typically, we say - "I, name____, am employed with __Company name_____ as ___Job title__ with annual salary of ____x amount" and my income for 2016 was ____x amount. NOA attached and same thing for my wife. Now in lay-off situation, I can still produce 2016 NOAs with sufficient earnings but what should I write instead of the statement above because I cannot state I am employed as ____?

i apply visitor visa on 12 dec from riyadh vfs center & till now my case is same as it was from the day one. when i request or ircc to recheck my case after 2 days they reply me as below for additional document required
Dear Applicant,
After an initial review of your file, we have determined that the following additional documents/information are required in order for us to continue processing your application. Kindly provide us with:
• A copy of your passports
Please provide the above documents/ information on or before February 05, 2018. Failure to provide these documents by the requested date may result in the refusal of your application. Feel free to send these documents as an attachment via IRCC Web form.
Please include the following with your reply:
1. File number
2. Full name as mentioned on your passport:
3. Date of birth:
4. Passport number
i do on same day but till now no result, can anyone tell me what they mean by a copy of passports, as i submit my current passport @ VFS riyadh on dec together on visa submission day or do they mean old passports (expired), one more thing i had a valid US visa does this will help in my case. or what i expect rejection?? as they give me timeline of 5 days for not providing documents may result in refusal.

You need to contact nearest VFS center for submission of your passport. Congratulations for visa approval in advance

We cannot predict anything if they process within 61 days or more then that. Usually BGC takes 3-4 months or more then that. Good luck
