TRV applied from India

my mum applied vfs mumbai to bangalore - oct 11 then nov 1 they said send medicals, medicals sent nov 13, its not dec 4 we have still not heard anything.. .we booked a ticket dec 1 and now had to cancel it as she is not here and dont know if it will be approved. processing says 27 days but i think everytime u send something new they reset the time. almost 2 months now she doesnt have her own passport in hand.

I applied for trv on 23rd nov.
got passport request on 1st dec and i submitted it on 4th at vfs global in new delhi.
Any idea how much time it is going to take for high commission to deliver it back to me?
PS: i was told 5-10 days in total. I have my tickets booked for 19th.
Please help.
