Hey @tinu28111987 .. can you share the list of documents you uploaded the second time? My parents visa got refused, and I would like to just apply for my Mom this time. But, she is a housewife -- so all her financial support will come from Dad. Did you change something in your list of documents the 2nd time? And what were the reasons of refusal the first time? Thanks!

Hello,
The reasons for refusal were family ties and purpose.

We added below docs this time.
1. We showed that we will take care of the financials during her stay here. Besides, she is working in India so we showed her payslips and employment letter in additional information.
2. we showed confirmed tickets for to and from journey.
3. We reduced the duration from 2 months to 3 weeks.
4. We uploaded itinerary of entire 3 weeks.

Hi all,

I applied for a TRV

Here's my timeline:
- Application Submitted: Feb 12 2020
- Biometrics Submitted and Completed: Feb 15, 2020
- Correspondece Letter about Biometric validity: Feb 19 2020
- Final Decision of REFUSAL - Feb 21, 2020

Reasons provided:

" I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on - the purpose of your visit
- based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence."


Ive never been rejected for a visa before, have travelled in europe, uk, australia, Nz and asia before :/

Can anyone please guide me as to what went wrong?

I provided every document included a letter from my Mother who's funding me - good FDs and also a letter of invitation from my canadian friend who I will stay with.

What should I do?
How long should I wait till i reapply? Long? Not long?

** I do think one mistake i made, even despite thorough documents was that I didnt write a cover letter + travel itinerary - just showed provisional return tickets.

Apart from that my application in my view was just fine.

My father & mother in law are planning to visit us here. They are anyways submitting their IT returns & property documents. I have sent a general invite letter & they are writing a cover letter should they also get this letter notarized. Also please advise me whether they should provide Affidavit of Support.

I have received tourist visa refusal based on
1. Travel history
2.ties to pakistan and canada
3.purpose of visit
4.personal assets
I have travelled in past in china,spain,italy,saudi arabia,UAE
I submitted bank statement amounting to 23000 canadian dollar, and fbr returns
I am govt officer BPS 18,serving since last 10 years
My wife is also govt officer and kinds are studying,also attached school certificates,sanctioned leave and noc from my govt deptt.
Also attached invitation letter having stay at my friends house.provided necessay documents from my friend in canada.

Kindly advise me further what to do????
Which forum should i use for injustified evaluation.

TRV application submitted from lahore, Pakistan on 06th march . Refused on 11th march. I am still trying to find refusal letter since i could not find the obejction. I linked my paper based application with my online account. There is no data in my account other then status is refused.

Biometrics details shown in cic account but the status still says your action is required and we need your biometrics
Email from delhi immigration on March 13 stating that your application is received (not sure how that happened as I applied online)
