I have applied on Apr 1 within Canada and no answer yet, If you have applied after Apr and got your visa please let us know. We can share our timeline

Hi - I applied for my in-laws TRV on 15th April via CIC on-online. We did received an email on 15th and 16th but nothing after that. I didn't find where did the application go ? Because we don't have the location specific column in application, it has only current country and etc...If i assume that they move the application automatically to canada embassy in India, different cities has different no. of processing days there (bangalore 8 days, delhi 6 days etc...)

what to consider here ?
 
Hi,
I applied for TRV for my in laws on 11 April online. Till now I got 2 emails saying the application has been updated but there was nothing new in my cic account.

Anyways, I feel that all the online applications are processed at CPC-Ottawa.

So, all on-line Visitor visa applications going to Ottawa case processing centre even though country or origin and residence is India ?
 
That make sense.

So, i applied for my in-laws visitor visa but there is no column to select which visa office it route to. If i assume they process it based on the country of residence (India), how do we know which office has our application. Whom to contact in case if we didn't get a response next month. Any ideas ?
 
Do I need to send my study permit along with my passport in case of passport request from CIC?
