TRV Application - VFS Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

I wrote my contract end date coz our contract is renewed yearly so around January 2015.

Yes, I indicated my prior TRV refusal, (date and application number). I did not indicate though that I was refused on my first US visa application coz i felt it was pointless since I got my US 10Y M on the second application and was able to use it last year...

Ok. I indicated my residency valid until november, same as the expiration date of my iqama...

Status based on VFS website as of today:
"Visa application, tracking ID No._______________ is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, RIYADH. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

I got my passport back from VFS Al Khobar today....

I am so happy that my Multiple TRV was approved:

Date of Issue: 28.04.2014
Expiry Date: 27.09.2018

To God be all the glory....

Thanks a lot... I really did not expect but with prayers anything is possible.... I did not get any notification in my email from VFS but what I did was to track the status of my application (almost everyday ) using the link below.

http://www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/SaudiArabia/trackyourapplication.html

Upon submission of your passport they normally will send you email to acknowledge the receipt of the document with your tracking number, you did not receive any?

If not, you can check the receipt given to you by VFS, your tracking number should be there...

I am planning to go to Canada on Eid Holiday... Good luck!

VFS actually updated my application status online around 8:00 this morning, and the status should be like below:

"Visa application, tracking ID No._______________ – Your processed passport is ready for collection at the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

Once you receive the same, you can immediately head to the VFS Office and collect your passport even no notice sent to you via email or text...

Please take note that passport collection time in VFS office is from 10AM to 4PM, I rushed to the office immediately upon seeing my updated status since its just 10 minutes drive from my place and ended the first in line to collect my passport.

Your passport will be released soon....

hello i just want to ask regarding proof of funds. does it matter if you will show big or small amount of money in your bank? can you give any rough estimate as to how much money should be in the bank? is it also necessary to give bank statement from your country of citizenship like in my case in the philippines? thanks a lot

i applied TRV visit visa on 11 June 2014 and on same date i did bio metric on 11 june i received 2 emails and on 12 june i received that my application has been updated now after 62 days i received a massage
"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information"
but i open my cic account there is no update i applied online on cic from Riyadh Saudi Arabia here process is 21 days
can any one tell me about this

in KSA you can only apply in two ways, through VFS or through online. I suggest do the online route.

if you something in CIC email "You have a new message(s) in your MyCIC account" it means there is a decision in your application. If it's only an update, it could be your file was opened and reviewed..

if you pass the normal processing time, you can hit them a case specific email but normally you will receive a reply that it is under process and there's really nothing you can do but to wait...
