Is there anyone who applied for TRV?? i applied on Dec 10 and i am still waiting.... how long it takes????

It can take as long as 5 weeks. Or longer. Depends on your application
 
No worries, due to Xmas & NYE holidays, there might be a littel delay, you can expect to get some response in 7 to 10 days.
 
i applied for canada tourist visa from india on 27/12/2016.submitted online, and now waiting for result.can anyone plz tell me whats current waiting time? i know according CIC website its around month but i want to know whats exactly they take.i found some approved in 2 dayz some time it take 2 months
 
I too had applied TRV for study purpose on 9th December 2016 and still waiting for Visa. I dont know why there is so much delay in VISA processing. There is no update about it.

Hi, guys,
I have question related to my TRV application. I want to renew my trv based on my open work permit but i don't have a job offer. There is a section in the IMM5257E asking for the details to visit to Canada. I need suggestion for what should i fill in " name, address in Canada of any person or institution I will visit"?
Shall i fill "unknown"?

Just mentioned N/A or if you are currently working in cananda then mention the employer name and address,nothing to worry.

i got passport request for TRV two days back and i sent my passport through canada xpresspost prepaid yesterday and i put small envelope in big envelope with passport and a letter and sealed the big one and then canada post gave me tracking numbers for both envelopes but the problem is that both tracking numbers are activated and both are showing in transit

I did anything wrong? or is it normal? Cry

I applied for my TRV on 6th Feb but no decision has been made yet. how long usually CIC take to make decision?
 
I thought it was only me. I applied for TRV for my family from within canada. The timr has passed but there have been no updates. Im wondering if its because of my PR application. Can anyone in a similar situation provide feedback.

Same here. Applied TRV on 25-Mar for my Daughter who is 5 year old. Her PR is in process and the file transfered to NDVO.
Please do update any status.
