Hi everyone,

I am suffering from diabetic retinopathy and going to have a eye surgery soon. Since i am living alone and there is no one to take care of me. I have obtained a PHAC letter for my wife travel to canada and applying for TRV under compassionate grounds. Moreover, i have obtained a medical certificate from my doctor about my situation and submitted as part of her TRV application.

Now she works for infosys and we submitted her paystubs, offer letter and ITA-2020-21 , she has no travel history outside india ordoes not have any other document that will show her ties to india ..

Has any one tried this route for spouse TRV?

This is clearly another person if you are now asking about travel for a wife when there was previously a PHAC for a mother. Much better for each person to create their own account. Depends on many things. What your status is Canada? How soon is your surgery, do you have an actual date? The treatments are at maximum day surgery and don't have the same care needs as many other surgeries so your doctor will have to explain what type of aftercare from another person is needed. Assume it is only one eye. When you say you are alone do you have any family or friends in Canada? Has your wife been fully vaccinated over 2 weeks ago? Has she done her biometrics? Has she applied for sponsorship or any other visas or permits?

Hello, I need another help with the statement on this link.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/coronavirus-covid19/visitors/visa.html#s1.

1. I applied for TRV before September 7th 2021. In fact, biometrics was done since October 5th 2020. Never mentioned in the application that I qualify for the COVID-19 exemption. So since I haven't heard from CIC till date, should I submit a new application?
I want to be reunited with my daughter (an immediate family member who is a permanent resident of Canada expecting her second new baby in February 2022.
