TRV application for a retiree

Hi everyone. i am inviting a relative to come to canada. hope someone could help her answer these online TRV application questions:
1. Do you have a job in the country where you currently live?
-the applicant retired 3 years ago, should this be a no?

2. Do you depend on someone for financial support?
-The applicant receives a good amount of money from her pension every month since retirement. But, the applicant's children also send her monthly allowance voluntarily.
-Not sure how she should answer this question as with her monthly pension alone, she's okay financially. She is not really depending financially on the children.

Yes. The remittances from her children would show up in her bank statement + tax returns.

Also, the 'Come to Canada' questionnaire only helps to generate the suggested document checklist. Any selections made there are not considered for a TRV decision
