TRV Application Delay and Urgent Travel Inquiry.

I did not inform IRCC about my travel to India, as I thought it might cause further delays. Also, an immigration lawyer advised me to go to India, wait for the approval, and then submit my passport to the nearest VFS center. Once I received the approval, I visited the VFS center in India, where they accepted my passport for processing.

Just curious, So if I leave without informing IRCC and wait for approval in India, can I just go ahead and book an appointment with vfs after getting in Canada approval letter. Do the vfs accept the in Canada approval letter? How long did it take for you to get your passport stamped and returned to you? Sorry for asking so many questions. Thank you!

Sure, will update! When did you apply? I raised several web forms and contacted IRCC more than 20 times but no luck! They do not have any information.
