I need some help.
Situation: Open work permit holder, my partner has a PGWP. Out TRVs expired and we made the application to get new ones. A couple of weeks ago my partner got a message from CIC asking for his passport, however, I just got a message that my application had been refused.
This is it:
No action is being taken to process your request for the following reasons:
[X] Our records indicate that you have already been issued a document by the Canada Immigration Centre
It seems to me they took my application as an extension of my work permit. They obviously made a mistake, as I even paid for the TRV fee, not the Open work permit fee which is more expensive. I've been calling for days and they always say they have too many calls and practically kick you out of the call.
I was thinking of going to the office in Etobicoke. If I went there, would they be able to help me? Do you have to book an appointment first?
I'm looking forward to you suggestions.
