Hi can someone advise me.? I am a filipino citizen and planning to apply TRV here in singapore as i am working here for 5 years as an engineer and holding a work permit. I am planning to visit my husband in Canada for 2 weeks only who also work there for 3 years under work permit as well. Can he invite me since he is only holding work permit? Other thing my husband has no plan to become a permanent resident there as we have decided to stay in singapore and have our permanent resident application here in Singapore that is on process. My employer is willing to give me all the necessary documents that I am tide up with the company and on my annual leave. Show money I have about 10k in Canadian dollar and a property in Philippines under my name. What is the chance of getting the TRV since most visas for spouse as I observe was been refused. is my case strong enough to get the visa approved. Please help as I'm already desperate since we got married 2 yrs ago and physically together for only 2 mos.

Apply for tourist visa. Show annual leave letter from your company. How long you wish to take off ?

For two weeks, there should not be any problem to get a visa in your case. Because you have enough fund in your account and a :D permanent job plus you live in one of the best country in Asia. Relax and apply :D

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
if possible, you should also show proof of your ongoing permanent resident application in singapore. most spouses are rejected because the VO might think you are not coming back and becasue your husband has been on a work visa for 3 years now, there is a probability that he might apply for permanent resident because he is qualify.
