TRV application and QSW PR Application.

Hello Everyone ,

I would like to share an experience and want to know did it happen with anyone or possible outcome of it .

It has been almost 7 months that I applied for QSW PR Application .
In the mean time , I applied for TRV( Under Work Permit ) by 31st March , whereas still I am waiting to have the Passport Request for TRV application . Though it takes total 10 days to have TRV Visa and Passport Stamped.
In my case , it has been more than 30 days .

Does it happen with anyone ? if yes please let me know what was the happened .

I sent an email to cic they replied that TRV application has to have more additional verification .so it will go beyond the regular processing times .
I called , agent told me application is under processing and no more additional docs is not required .

Please let me know .

I have question? My PGWP will expire on end of October 2017. It was given beyond my passport expire date. So, i could get extension on PGWP. Can someone tell me, what will be the best time to apply for extension of PGWP or can i apply now for extension? I am planning to apply online.

Hi Tanvir, i know this is an old thread but i'm stuck in a very similar situation where my PR application is in SS (its been a full year now since Dec 2017) and my TRV application (in-land) has exceeded normal processing time (its been 3 months now).

How long did it take you to get the TRV finally? or did you automatically get the PR then? i really need to travel soon and because of this i'm stuck in Canada. would really appreciate any help.
