Hello House

Need your help, i've applied 2ce now for a visiting Visa to canada and both occasions was denied.

1st time Nov 2015 for denial were

- Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
- Purpose of visit
- Current employment situation
- Personal assets and financial status
- Having a legitimate business purpose in Canada

even i would admit i did a rush application at that point and didn't get all my documents together reason being was My mum and brother had just gotten their visa's and i decided in rush to join in

2nd attempt Oct 2017 was also denied again this time around reason for denial only thing stated was

- Purpose of visit

Would like to apply again this month and thinking what can I do differently to show them that am a genuine Visitor

Between my 1st attempt and today i've built my travel history , been to Dubai, US x3 trips (although i don't currently have a valid US Visa, Interview for that is in May), South Africa, Italy, Geneva.

Moved Jobs, saved a bit and am firmly settled in my country of residence and sincerely have absolutely no plans to not come back.

My 2nd application i submitted my employment letter, leave form and payslips
I had a travel itinerary and also hotel booking (didn't get a letter of invite because really wanted to stay in a hotel and not with family friends I had over there and also didn't want to contact a distant uncle i haven't seen in years just for the purpose of a letter of Invitation)
Also Visa stamps on my passport was also submitted, Bank Statements.

so for this application documents am thinking of

My work contract letter for last 3 years (am a contract staff and contract is renewed every Jan), Paylsip for last 6 months and Approved Leave request form

Bank statement showing savings and another which shows my salary inflow monthly

Not sure if I shld go the Hotel route again or get a letter of Invite from a close family friend

Previous Visas showing entry and exit stamp (US, Dubai, Schengen & South Africa)

Have a stamp which shows that I was denied entry to the UK last year on my way to NY due to past immigration offence I had previously overstayed in the UK for a couple of years)

Flight Itinerary

Please helpppppp

Regardless of how well you prepare your application + your strong ties to your home country.... your UK visa overstay, not by a few days/weeks but by a couple of years + you were denied entry to the UK + you are now banned from entering the UK..... will negatively affect your chances of getting a TRV.

The UK and Canada share immigration data. Hope you had declared your UK overstay, UK ban, etc. in your previous TRV applications. Failure to declare this information could result in a 5-years' ban for misrepresentation by Canada

So are you advising that I don’t reapply. Even if am to state my UK Visa Issue not sure i was banned though letter given was that am being refused entry based on previous immigration issue.

Also I left the UK voluntarily then after I had applied for leave to remain and was refused.

Even if am to state my UK Visa Issue
You had seriously breached the conditions attached to your UK visa by overstaying for more than 90 days i.e. two years. Not sure if you worked illegally as well.

As you seriously violated your visa conditions in the UK, what would make the IRCC visa officer to believe you will not violate any Canadian immigration rules?

You already have two Canada TRV refusals too.

You can be pretty sure you have a re-entry ban for the UK. Also, your chances of getting any visa for the UK are zero for several years.

Although you left voluntarily, how long you have been banned from re-entering the UK will depend on:
1. Did you leave on your own expense or at the expense of the UK government?

2. Did you leave voluntarily after your removal was ordered? If yes, how long after your removal was ordered?

Also I left the UK voluntarily then after I had applied for leave to remain and was refused.
It's surprising you applied for leave to remain after overstaying your UK visit by two years. A refusal of your application was inevitable.

Back to your TRV reapplication:
1. You don't have a convincing purpose of visit Canada. Wanting to meet a friend or making hotel bookings indicate tourism/sightseeing = Not compelling.

2. You don't have any assets in your country of residence + no dependents + no permanent ties as such

Thanks for your response

I do acknowledge that I seriously breached my Uk conditions and not trying to make light of it in any way at all.

Just didn’t know how strongly Canada takes “Immigration offenses done in other countries” even after years and the person has demonstrated remorse or changed ways. Assumed that because I have good immigration history after UK and plan to continue that way.

I left the UK voluntarily at my own cost, after the refusal agreed a date with my case worker and left on d agreed date. (Was given no letter or anything, am guessing the ban is automatic) The last year entry refusal was as a result of a cancelled flight on my way to US due to adverse weather condition. We were rescheduled on a flight for the next day out of Heathrow and had to pass immigration to access the complimentary hotel airline Was going to lodge us in. Was refused but put on my onward flight the next day and was given a slip saying entry refusal based on previous immigration history.

I do have assets in my home country and strong familial ties also a job and run a business alongside that
