I AM APPLYING FOR PR FOR MANITOBA ? ANYONE WHAT ARE REQUIREMENTS TO BE A TRUCK DRIVER IN MANITOBA ? IS THERE A REAL SHORTAGE OF TRUCK DRIVERS IN CANADA ?

As I mentioned earlier most of the truck driving jobs are filled up by professionals who have qualified under the points system to come to Canada but have not found jobs in their fields. So to directly come as a truck driver from your home country is going to be very difficult.

There are shortage of truck drivers in Canada just as much as there are shortage of Doctors, Engineers, Architects and Accountants

They may not have a truck driving license??

If you go to Oil Sands - yes, pay is handsome. But I am not sure you are willing to live in work camps, stand long shifts and, how should I say, not the most exciting weather possible.
