Students do get a part time job about 4-6 months after the start of the course. Also, there must be some jobs on campus too. But, being a small city, students will pounce on those first.

I have Seneca as an option but that's a one year course and I am looking for 2 years.

That won't be a problem. Apply for another 1 year course after that and then you can get 3 years pgwp.

But TRU is offering me a post baccalaureate for 2 years whereas seneca is offering me a one year course at almost the same cost.

Its totally upto you where do you want to go. Both are good.

I think $13 is the minimum wage in BC.

That won't be a problem. Apply for another 1 year course after that and then you can get 3 years pgwp.

rule changed I guess. now you'll get PGWP as per total duration of course if it is more than 1 program
