Hey guys.. i am in a bit of situation right now and even lawyers are not giving me straight answers and i trying to find someone who can inform me about TRP.
I have been in canada since 2016, in 2021 i was summarily convicted for DUI min fine. I have had no problems ever since but i did CEC application under STEM category with H&C documents but it got rejected on based of serious criminality. I have been in live in relationship since 2022 and got married in jan 2025. My wife is a canadian citizen. Now i am on BOWP's implied status and have no other status. I am planing to apply for TRP soon, my BOWP will get rejected soon so can i be in canada till my BOWP approves?
Some lawyers say i can get TRP and some says i can't.
What type of documents did you have to show to get TRP approved? Also what is most common duration of TRP?
And for future can i get my TRP renewed while being in canada? Did anyone have to face removal order?
