Hey guys!
I posted my case here before I just want to ask a question, maybe someone is familiar with it.
If I disclose my unauthorized work on PGWP application, do I need to apply for TRP as well? Cause unauthorized work makes a person inadmissible.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, I have been reading your situation and I am vey worried because I am in a similar one. I have consulted two lawyers, one of them told me to wait for 6 months since I last worked more than 20 hours a week as per Regulation 200(3)(e)(i-iv) I should be considered elegible again. https://laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-200.html The second one told me to apply by TRP as "there´s no such thing as a 6 month period" I don´t know what to do. Have you taken a decision or found the implications fo TRP? Also, if you don´t mind shaing which law fim you consulted we might be on the same boat.

Thank you!!

I am in a similar situation I worked over the authorized hours and once I knew I stopped more than a year and six months passed since I did before I graduated. I went to a lawyer and she recommended applying for a TRP and that's what I did.

All I want to tell you is that I have been waiting for my TRP application to be processed for over a year and a few months some have been waiting for even more time. When you apply for a TRP you are stuck in Canada you can't work, you are not eligible for free medical care and you can't leave the country (unless you want to withdraw your application).

In short, it's a very unpleasant situation to be in. Please note that this is not to discourage you if you decided to apply for a TRP but it's what you have to deal with so be prepared.

I´m so sorry to hear that! Is there anyway you can fasten the process?

I am still confused on what to do. I am afraid of applying for a TRP as I feel thats a last resource but I am also afraid my PGWP application might get refused under the Regulation 200(3)(e)(i-iv)

This is my opinion only. If I can go back in time I would have applied for a pgwp and gone for a TRP if I get it refused.

That being said, I highly recommend you talking to a lawyer they know the rules better than I do.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response. What do you think about flagpolling with TRP + PGWP? Please help
