Trouble linking my application to online account

Okay if you applied online then I would call them to see what's going on. Usually online applications are entered way quicker than paper applications.

They received my app March 13
I received A0R 1 on March 29
Process started March 28. I am still waiting for Sponsor approval. (AOR2)
They requested my Schedule A and pc c on April 4th. I sent it in April 20. My background check started April 27th.

Haven't heard anything since then. All it says In online account is we are processing your background check we will send you a message if we need more info.

I actually called them about an hour ago and got through right away. Was s 20 minute wait.

The number is 1888-242-2100.

Thanks KandyK, I was not able to call the number from the London/UK but my wife in Montreal managed to connect me on 3 ways calls. After 25 minutes wait, the officer told me that they don't have access to the applications and she can't help me, that I need to feel the web form, only option.

Oh okay. Sucks. Maybe it's at a different Visa office that's why. Go ahead and fill out the form. They will contact you. I think it can take up to 10 days for a reply using web form.

Yes, I did but I do have a message that I really need to open it and submit some documents to support my eTA application. I don't know how long I've got to do that.

I can't find mine no matter how many times I try. I've tried all the tips on here but none work. This many people shouldn't be having troubles linking an app

I just got an email from CIC requesting the Schedule A form. And they say in the pdf letter that they strongly recommend we link our paper application to our online account! How annoying!! I still can't link mine.

Okay. You need to continue to try. Once you are entering the correct info which u submitted on the paper application and you still have issues, most likely you are not entered in the system as yet.

I had to try continuously for 2 weeks before I was able to link my application

Yup I know your frustration. Mine was Not in the system even after when they sent the email.

It took 2 weeks to finally link it. I just kept on trying everyday.
