Last week I got my PPR and have since been searching for a commercial courier that follows the instructions set out by the Visa Office in Vienna.
I live in the Netherlands and getting the documents to Vienna is no problem, the issue lies with the return envelope. Since it is yet unknown when the documents are ready to be shipped back to me, I cannot create a pre-paid coupon for the Visa Office.

Has anybody here (with the same Visa Office) have the same issue and if so, how did you solve it?
We now plan to include a letter in which we ask for them to contact me when our documents are ready to go after which I will make a pre-paid coupon (date is known by then) which they can print and put on the return envelope.

Do you think they will do this? If they don't they ship it by regular mail from Austria to the Netherlands (does anybody have an idea how long this takes?).

Thanks

Exactly the same situation and same visa office.

I sent my mail without prepaid envelope from Croatia on 23rd, delivered to Vienna on 27th. My postal service lists 7 working days as maximum for regular mail to be delivered inside Europe.

So you couldn't find any commercial courier that could follow the instructions as well and are going with the regular mail option then?

Didn't even bother searching for commercial courier. Yes, going with the regular mail option.

Same problem here and same VO. Prefer not to go with regular mail option.
Thinking of using VFS global services as alternative.
Any experience with pre-paid return envelop via Fedex or DHL when courier from Germany to Vienna ?

Any help is appreciated.

If you are using VFS, you don't need a return envelope. All you need to do is make sure your documents get to VFS and they'll send your COPR and passport to you (all for a fee. Check their website for details).

However, If you want to handle it yourself you have a to create a return label for your shipment (I only know of DHL) which is really easy. You can google "creating DHL return label".

I hope that helps

It helps. Thanks very much, I am reading through the return label option.
Will see then what works best.
