Contrats, Bro,

what a long waiting for you, but worth it.

by the way,
i intend to study another program right after my current program which finishes in September,
however, the level of the new program (college level, engineering) is lower than the current one (business master),
how's the chance of getting the new study permit?

any idea?

Thanks a lot.

Congrats!! (not Contract ;))

From what I heard here in the forum, you always want to keep a progression of the level of your studies!
However, for example, on our case, my husband is a chemical engineer (bachelors degree - 5 years program) and he applied for an accountant certificate (8 months length) within the oil and gas context. we submitted a good SOP and got the approval with no problems!

Thanks a lot for your info, it is very kind of you.

so your husband completed the bachelor study here in Canada and then extended the study for the accountant certificate?

No problems!
No, he completely his degree back home and than applied for a SP for the accountant certificate!

Ya it's different when u extending it from inside Canada, they really don't care much about progression.

Thanks a lot, so basically u mean if extending inside Canada, even the level "degrades" (e.g., bachelor to college, etc), chance is still high, right?
Hope so......

I applied for study permit extension may 15. No news yet. I really can't wait cus I want to invite my husband on visitor visa.

I hope they reply me soon. I got a mail that there had not been an update in my application since I last log in.....don't know what it means, but am expectant.

This was the mail I got.....

There have been no updates to your application since you last checked your MyCIC account. Thank you for your patience.
