Travelling with work permit approval letter

Hi My WP was approved on Mar 2022 , my employer is now asking me to travel. As my Work permit approval letter expires on Mar 2024 can i travel now or is there a specific time limit before which i should travel?
I planned to travel now and apply for WP extension after landing?

Given that it has been almost 2 years since you received your WP I would bring updated letter/email from your employer confirming your start date, title,office location, salary, etc. There may be concern that there isn’t a job since most move soon after receiving their WP.

Thanks if i ask all those again to my employer he would delay further LOL I will just travel and see where it goes as i have the employment details .

I was able to land without issues- just in case someone is following this. Only question I was asked was about my PR application in progress where my spouse is listed as non accompanying
