Travelling with approved PGWP without hard copy on hand

I have to travel due to work for 3 days in august by study permit expires by July end.. I got my PGWP approved, the letter says not valid for travel and to wait for actual permit.
So Can I travel to US and back without hard copy of pgwp in hand and just approved in the ircc site.
