Travelling outside Canada for long time after applying for citizenship

Hi everyone, I applied for citizenship last October. I am planning to travel out of the country for few months.
Should I inform the CIC even if I can come back any time if they send me for the test? Thank you.

you don't need to if you are planning to come back on time for test
