Hello Everyone,

I applied for my permanent residence application under Canadian Experience Class and I have 30 Days remaining on my work permit. I will be applying for BOWP today which would allow me to keep working here in Canada.

Am I allowed to travel outside Canada for vacation and come back in ?
Whom should i reach out to get some information about the same ?

You will also need a temporary resident visa to come back to Canada. BOWP is just a permit like your old work permit but to re-enter you must also have a visa on your passport (unless you are from a visa exempt country).

After you get BOWP then apply for TRV.

IRCC's offical website is the best place to get info. You can also ask IRCC on twitter or call them on the number provided on their website.

Thanks for the reply.
Is it the same processing time as work permit for BOWP?
BOWP is taking quite long these days. I applied mine on 24th of June and recieved it on 23rd October.

I am filling up my application of BWOP and I am not sure what should be select for the following question :

1. Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada? (required) Yes/No (I just have letter stating Acknowledgement of receipt - Application for permanent residence )

2. Have you submitted a permanent resident application in Canada? (required) Yes/No

3. Do you have a written job offer? (required) Yes/No (I am currently working and its NOT on LMIA)

Hello,
My EE application is in process, and my and wife's BOWP and child's TRV have been approved and I got stuck with the question. Should I send passports for visas?
1. I understand that we don't need visitor visa stamps for BOWP if we are not going to cross a border, but I am hesitating if my child with TRV can legally stay in Canada without stamp in passport?
2. If I urgently need to travel outside Canada , will it be possible to leave Canada legally without stamp and to stamp visas in foreign VO before come back Canada?
I would be grateful if you could answer me. Thank you.
