Travelling abroad with eCOPR

Hello all -

I must travel to India by end of September. I have gotten my eCOPR by 26th June, 2021 and it expires by October 2021. I have a valid work permit, but no stamping for the new work permit I have extended. Any idea / suggestions how to make the trip and come back to Canada. I will be returning around December.

You need either a valid PR card or a valid PR Travel Document to return to Canada.

Work permits are generally canceled once you have landed and become a PR and are no longer valid in the system (and therefore cannot be used as a means of returning to Canada).

Sorry, I don't know how long it's taking right now.

You can't apply until you are actually outside of Canada. So unfortunately not something you can obtain in advance of travel.

Congratulations. Please when exactly did you upload your picture and address in the Portal? When was the passport photo and address approved? Please lets know. I have uploaded and counting time.

I just uploaded it last week and nothing is approved. When did you uploaded your details?
 
Just checking in here weekly: any people around or before 12:15 Eastern still no AOR/couldn't link?

International Grad stream. 12:15 EDT submission. Biometrics done before. Medical LOE with proof of appointment (Medical done on May 20). PCC upfront. No AOR. Couldn't link. Toronto, ON.
 
Hey Guys, sorry for this silly question. I've just received my eCOPR and waiting for PR card before I travel... Will the passport be requested for stamping? I'm confused because pre-covid, my friend had a visa stamp on her passport as inland applicant.

I would like to know as I am scheduled to renew my passport. I wonder if the IRCC would request this and I don't have it on hand.

Pl let me know whether you got your PR card and how long it took . My ecopr is valid till Nov 2021 and i have to travel to India by Oct . Any timelines would help please
