Hi guys/ gals

I received my ITA last month and is in the process of completing all the Post-ITA formalities....All this wouldnt have been possible without the help of you guys ......Thank you for all your guidance and help :)

Now, I have a minor doubt...might sound like a silly doubt....but wish to get it clarified....

I have to go to South Africa to represent our company for a conference in August.......have not yet applied for the visa but would be doing soon...I would have hopefully completed my post-ITA application process by then....

So would it be a problem if I travel abroad after I have applied for the the express entry process......as I would not be able to update that travel details in express entry profile.....

Hoping to get valuable clarity regarding it

Hi, It's OK. You can surely still travel post ITA. As long as when you submit it, it has the most updated travel plans

@adrlim is right, unless you will travel and stay there you need to send a CSE and update your contact information and send proof of address, but that is not the case so don't worry

Hello. Please I have a slightly different question. I submitted my fingerprints to FBI this June, and I have received ITA as well. I Intend to submit my e-APR with just confirmation of submission to FBI as the processing might still take another 6-7 weeks. My question is can I travel to the US after e-APR submission, even though the FBI report is not out. Or is it safer to just wait till FBI report comes out before making any trip to the US?

The rule on PCC is that if you currently live in a country (a resident) you need the PCC to be issued very few days before you submit, if you are issuing it for a country you were a resident in, then the PCC must be issued after your last day there as a resident (you can do it while visiting)

So you can return to the US as you please, Send a LOE saying that you applied for PCC but won't receive it for another 6 weeks or so

and as soon as your PCC arrives send it, but note that if you are returning to the US as a resident you will have to update your contact info with IRCC

P.S. the LOE must contin proof that you applied for PCC and is waiting for it
