I just checked now and it seems my document validity was updated on 19/5/2021. It started showing my "document is valid". So it went from "Document is invalid" to "Document is valid". I submitted my medical on 24/4/2021.
My status also changed to "Your document is valid" on 8th July. Got my medical redone on 25th June.

The initial IRCC email said "If you pass your medical exam, you will receive another letter from IRCC advising you that
may proceed with your travel plan to Canada.". Does this mean we have to wait for the letter or are we good to travel now?
