Traveling via British Airways

Hello,

I just received my CoPR and was looking to book tickets to land in Toronto. The best and cheapest tickets from India to Canada i found was British Airways with transit in Heathrow. NO change in airport.

Do I need a transit visa although there is no change in airport and transit of 5hours only??

Recently, one of my friends acquaintance was sent back to home country (india) from Heathrow while he was traveling to Toronto sighting reason "Destination country passport is required".

I'm pretty confused and need assistance. Please help!!
