Hi guys,
I’ve applied for citizenship in April and I got my AOR in late April, now I’m leaving canada in 3 weeks due to get some fertility treatments because it’s way cheaper in my backhome.I will send a webform to inform IRCC that I’m going back home for couple of months.
My question is:Should I tell IRCC why I’m going back home?does it make any trouble ?
Thank you in advance

I would suggest not to inform IRCC of your absence now, inform only if you get test invitation and you are still outside Canada, if you inform now your application may become non-routine and take more time to complete.

Thank you for your reply
In that case, they wouldn’t tell me why you didn’t inform us before?

based on the info available on this forum, not my personal experience, you may inform IRCC if you will be outside Canada for more than 2 weeks but it's not something that you must inform as it doesn't impact your application negatively.

Not really an issue if going temporarily
