Travelling to where?
I’ll explain the situation:
I applied for PR from UAE on September 2020 and my 6 months processing time elapsed on March 2021. Last week IRCC send me a mail informing that the processing will be delayed due to backlog of PR applications caused by covid situation. I’m the primary applicant and my wife & infant are secondary applicants. They are traveling to India next week and will return after either 5-6 weeks or if I receive COPR. Now my doubt is that should I inform IRCC about it since only secondary applicants are traveling and there won’t be any change in contact information of primary applicant?
Kindly advise.

I think you and/or can travel as you see fit. The only this is if you guys stay more than a certain time in a given countries (6 months for most) you would most likely have to order a police certificate from that country.

If they are your dependents in the application then yes you have to send to IRCC via webform advise them that their current address has been changed and that they are not currently in Canada. When IRCC issue COPR they will ask you anyway if you are all currently in Canada. Are you CEC applicant?
