Hi folks

I want to travel to Canada with my wife. I applied for student Visa and my wife come to Canada with open work permit visa. Does any one here have an experience with his wife or husband to Canada recently? I mean do I need to gather some documents for travel to canada with my wife such as Ok to board for get into airplane?
Is it true that student's wife need job offer while they hold an open work permit visa? How can I get a job offer for my wife? When I applied for our Visa, there was nothing about it.

IRCC mentioned that after October 20th both the student and their dependants will be travel exempt (I know about spouse and student for sure, not sure about the children). You might want to wait until that date to get detailed instructions on how this would apply to you.

OP asked what they needed to do to be able to board a flight to Canada. The first thing they have to figure out is if they are exempt from the travel restrictions listed on the IRCC website.
