Travel while waiting for eCoPR

Hey all, I got my portal email 1 today but I’m currently in Mexico. I’ll be returning to Canada tomorrow evening. Would it be okay if I just wait and respond to the email once I return? Or should I let them know I’m outside the country and wait for a new email?

Hello! We got P2 on October 29 and still waiting for eCoPR. Does anyone have any advice for land border entry back into Canada if we don't receive eCoPR while we're away? Will they issue us with a visitor visa? We are also waiting for our BOWP and our IEC ended in the summer.

Hello, I'm in the same boat, My work permit is ending soon and my employer is pushing me to go back. In that case, can I leave the country after P2 and re-enter Canada with PRTD?

I travelled without COPR but I informed IRCC and I was away for a month . I just informed them I am now back hoping to get my COPR and pr card soon .
Has anyone done this before?

For those that did this, what were your experiences? I've been waiting for the eCoPR but I must travel at the end of February. My work permit is valid, but my TRV has expired. I've just submitted an application for a new TRV and plan to inform IRCC before I travel to suspend eCoPR issuance until I return. I believe you must be physically located in Canada before the eCoPR is issued, if not, you may run into problems in future.
