Hi folks,
I am planning to go to US. I have a visa to US so there is no concern.
When I come back to Canada, it's written that if US is the only place I have visited, I can come back with just the work permit. Here is the reference: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/extend/travel-outside-canada.html(see section If you’re from a visa-required country)
However, my work permit just got approved today and I don't expect it to be mailed prior to my trip. Is it possible just to tell the port of entry officer that my work permit is already approved? Has anybody had the same situation before?
Thanks!
