Travel to US from Canada after PPR

Hi All,

Can someone help me with my concern:

I have a flight to the US on November 21 and will return to Canada on Nov 28. My Canadian work visa is expired on December 14, 2019.
I've read somewhere saying that after we receive PPR and got approval on our EE profile, we can no longer use the work visa to travel and enter back to Canada, is that true?

I've got my PPR last week on Oct 17 and sent out my passport to Ottawa on the same day already, now waiting to get it back.
If I get my passport back and travel to the US, is it ok for me to enter Canada with my work visa or it is no longer valid and I have to wait till receiving PR card in order to travel outside Canada and come back?

I am not sure of the work visa situation but I know for a fact you can’t enter with your COPR document alone. You need the physical PR card. I am assuming you won’t be issued a one time visa on your passport since you are already in Canada ? If yes you can use that in place of your work visa.

I've living in Canada for almost 8 years and currently have Post grad work permit with a multiple entries visa. That's what I meant by Work visa.
So it is ok for me to leave and return Canada using my current visa right? I am just worried cos some people said I wont be able to enter Canada since my current visa will be invalid after my PR application got approved even if it is not expired yet.

You TRV is valid till you complete the landing process. PPR doesn't invalidate your TRV
