I have been working and living in Canada. I haven't been to my home country in two years and would really like to take a one month vacation starting next month.
Recently I got the ITA, so now working on the application, will submit it in a few days. I'm just wondering, is there any restriction on travelling to one's home country while your application is in progress? or is there anything that I need to pay attention to in terms of travelling?
Like do you have to update your passport travel history with CIC afterwards? I know that one of the documents in my e-APR is my complete passport including any pages with stamps. Should I update that after my travel? I've never actually submitted an application so I don't know if there is a way to update that document after submission.
I'm just asking this for being cautious not to cause any trouble and jeopardize my PR application.
Thank you in advance to all who share their views and experience.
