I was advised that since I have a sibling who is a permanent resident, I could request for a written authorization to travel from the IRCC
So I'm in the process of doing that.

My spouse residing in USA got counterfoil (visa stamp), COPR with similar letter.
Note: Visa officer called me (I am PA) last month asking whether my spouse can travel before November 2021 as 1 year of my medical expires on Nov 2021. I said "Yes" to him so I assume she should able to travel. But when she received this letter I am not wondering.
Does anyone know if USA is a part of an exemption list?
I didn't get the countries from where some of you who replied to this forum. I believe current restrictions are flights from India and Morocco. I am not sure if anyone from this posts were able to land to Canada recently. Please update so we all will know.
