Travel out of Canada for 3 weeks

I just applied for an extension to my visa. I also applied for an OWP.
Can I leave Canada and come back after 3 weeks?

Whether you're allowed back into Canada is up to the immigration officer at the border.

Note that visa extensions are canceled as soon as you leave Canada (they are only good as long as you remain in Canada). To try to re-enter Canada, you either need a valid visitor visa or a visa exempt passport.
