Hi Seniors,

Kindly advice on the following situation.

Some background -
I am currently in the US and a Canadian PR waiting for the PR card after I did short landing in June 2018. My spouse and our little one ( US citizen) were declared unaccompanying on my PR application. Very recently, my spouse applied for a Canadian visitor visa mentioning she will be traveling alone to Canada for US visa stamping purposes and the application got approved.

Current Situation-
My spouse is planning to travel to Canada for a weekend and want to take the little one along. So my questions are as follows -

1. Would it be okay if the little one travels along? My spouse mentioned in the visitor visa application that no one is accompanying her.

2. I am a Canadian PR and I can enter Canada via road without a PR card. If the answer to #1 is yes, would there be any issue if we all three (myself, spouse, little one) enter Canada via road, stay there for a weekend and return back? Can there be any complications, now or in the future?

Thanks!

So assume will you have Id , proof US citizenship or passport, for your minor child to cross into Canada for a visit and return to the US ?
