Hello, in two weeks time I'm moving to Canada for up to two years.
I just read on the CIC website this...
"If your insurance policy is valid for less than your expected stay, you will be issued a work permit that expires at the same time as your insurance.
If this happens, you will not be able to apply to change the conditions of your work permit at a later date"
Is this likely to happen? I'm quite frustrated because I don't have the funds to pay for 1-2 years insurance right now. I was originally planning to buy about 6 months worth and then extend it later after I started working for a while.
Thank you
