Travel history?

I see a lot of threads where travel history was cited as the reason they got a refusal. But when I filled my application at no point did they ask about my travel history, and they only requested a copy my valid passport, which only has one travel stamp on it since it's pretty new.
Did I miss something in the application or is this just something they ask for people from certain countries?
Should I have uploaded old passports even though they never asked for them?

Hi, did you list the travel you had from your old passport even though you didn’t provide the copy? Or you just put the travel history in your recent passport? Thank you as I have a similar situation

i have travel history on my old passport, but i have not traveled my new passport which i presented to IRCC.also i didn't mention any travel history, as from every country it will reuqire me to arrange police report which was complicated process. now i have applied as well for visa, now i am thinking i made mistake, will they must check my old passports as well? or sometime they can skip it.
