Travel History

So I came across two cases in this forum:

1) The person was from India and was working in US. Never traveled anywhere. He did not fill anything in travel history, not even first trip. Got ppr.

2) The person was from x country and working in canada. Never traveled anywhere. Left travel history blank. He was requested travel history by cic post eapr.

So no right or wrong in this i believe!

In second case that you have provided there is one thing that this person forgot. She/he suposed to put hi/her first trip to Canada. When you are traveling for the first time to the country you are not yet the resident of it, Just after you pass the border you become one and only if you are travelling on workinng/study visa. If you are traveling on tourist visa than your are not a reident of this country, just a tourist.

Well Actually not. I am not relating it to the PCC at all. I am concerned about the statement

"Provide details of any trips Applicant has taken outside his country of origin OR of residence in the last ten years."

As I interpret it shall be the trips made outside the Current country of Residence and Country of Origin. If I have taken tripe to these two countries I don't have to mention it.

Other, seniors can elaborate more !

But when you read the above statement again and again, it also gives a meaning that they want you to mention trips which were taken outside these countries i.e. all the travels excluding domestic travels in home country and country of residence. It does not mention that the travels between country of origin and country of residence.

I did not include these travel details because I could not understand how I should mention the from and to dates. I left it out and hopefully it will be fine.

I was confused too but then I decided to add all trips. Start with ur home country and add all trips without any gaps meaning

I felts is safer to add everything as more information is not going to hurt.

They will request you travel history if needed. Don't worry. Even if you didn't enter the travel history due to this understanding, you should be good as long as your tallied PCCs with your travels. That's the ultimate point in requesting this travel history.

Yeah that's what I thought. I mentioned in my LOE that I have not listed my travel between India and US. And I have a US PCC too.

The thing is that it's illogical if you will put the trips between your country Or residence and country of origin, because whenever you will want to do so, country of origin Or country of residence will become a country where you are travelling into and they are asking about trips taken outside of country of residence Or origin.
If they would like you to put all trips than why do they Just don't ask put all your International trips.

About the 2 Cases mentioned before. We don't know exactly situation of this two People. Maybe in one Case there was something that confused officer and that's why he asked for Travel history.

Hi all,

I have to submit my e-APR application this month and since past 2 days I have been continuously reading posts related to travel between country of origin and residence. I agree with folks on this thread, there is really no definitive answer to this question. I have even come across a thread which mentions that only if your country of residence is "CANADA", then you need not mention any trips taken between country of origin <-> residence, else you need to. I am not sure what is true at the end of the day.

I did get PPR without any problem So I will still stick to that we don't need to mention travel between your country of origin and country of residence. Just the first one travel to your country of residence and that's all.

And what could be the To date of first travel to country of residence if we traveled to other countries after that?
