Hello everyone,

I have received an ITA and I have a question about the Travel History.

I have been in Canada under many statuses. Visitor, student and temporary worker. And in the mean time I have travelled back and forth to my home country.

Do I have to mention my trips to Canada and to my country of origin?

Or everything but these two?

Travel history includes every trip you have made so far using your passport .

I was confused because it says "Provide details of any trips ****** has taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence"

What I did is put the travel under visitor category from my origin country to Canada in the form
if travel happens after I got a resident status (Work permit/Student Permit), I ignore them
Hope this helps you

I was thinking to do the same.
- Ignore all my travels to my home country. (This is what the description says)
- And mention my travels to Canada only as a visitor. (Under Work permit/Student Permit, Canada becomes country of residence)

in other words you would have to provide travel history for last 10 years when your Passport was stamped include every trip where your passport was used,
make sure the data matches the other parts of your application.

there is a reason why they ask for you to send them each and every stamped page of your Passport including of course your Bio pages .

of course, if you are unsure, you can just list all of them as OMG said. :D

btw, check your stamps on your passport closely. I found out that the custom missed one stamp for my entering to Canada at Toronto Pearson Airport , and another stamp was on my work permit, not my passport.

Thanks for your help. But I am still confused.

While I was a student I went for 2 weeks in my home country and of course when I got back to Canada my passport got stamped. Why should I mention this trip as it clearly says to mention trips outside the country of origin.

Also I went to the States many times, which means that my passport was stamped 2 times (USA + Canada borders). I think it is stupid to mention the times I got back to Canada.

Sorry if I am stubborn.

Trip outside of country of origin and country of residence should mean the trips you took outside of Canada/your home country

For trips between US. and Can
just write from xx to xx, travel in US
from xx to xx, travel in Can
this kind of stuff
then if the travelling to Can happens during your Resident status period, you don't need to declare them
