I have a couple of questions regarding travel history and personal activities:
1. Travel History with Multiple Countries of Residence:
I studied and worked in the US before moving to Canada. I’m confused about whether the travel history should exclude travels to both my current and previous countries of residence, or just the current one. Specifically, do I need to include trips between the US (my previous residence country) and my home country? It seems I don’t need to include trips to my country of origin, but it also doesn’t make sense to include my stay in the US as it’s not a “trip.”
2. Personal Activities/History - Working Remotely While Abroad:
While working for my employer in Canada, I went back to my home country for three months to prepare for and have my wedding, and also waited for my wife’s work permit to be issued. During this time, I worked remotely for my Canadian employer and remained on the Canadian payroll. My manager was understanding and allowed me to work remotely since it was a once-in-a-lifetime event (hopefully). My question is: Do I need to specify this period in my personal activities? Should I mention that I worked remotely from my home country for three months? I consider it a trip and “work while traveling,” but I’m unsure since it wasn’t a short trip (just a couple of weeks) nor was it long enough (six months) to require a police certificate.
3. Address History
This is related to the second question - does our address history need to reflect exactly with the personal activities/history? So for my three months short trip back to China for my wedding and work while travelling, do I need to specify my address in my home country, or just my general and regular residence address in Canada?
Thank you for your answers.
