Hi all,

I am presently in india...applying for visa from india... i have a valid kuwait visa... and have made many visits to and fro from kuwait(like almost 2 times in a year)... so my passport is like full *stamp stamp stamp*..passport was issued in 2008..so since then i have been travelling to and fro atleast 2 times every year..

My question is:
1)is this a good or bad thing for visa? do they want us to have travelled or do they want us to not have travelled much?
2)when applying for visa, do i have to submit a copy of all the pages with stamps?
3)do i have to include a copy of the page having the kuwait valid residence?

I don't think there will be any issue . It shows you visited Kuwait and returned to India . There is nothing wrong in that . Many of my friends worked in UK , studied in UK and made many trips to India , they have also applied for the visa . Never hide anything..That is the only way you can be rejected.

@megan: I am a citizen of india.. but i have a residence permit of kuwait which is valid for 2 years at a time..and has to be renewed every 2 years.

@priya: i was born and brought up in kuwait..did my high school there and came to india for bachelors.

Do i have to attach all the pages with stamps in my passport? and also the page with the kuwait residence permit?

Attach your birth certificate, a copy of your RP and state your intention of stay in Kuwait.

Then also give your old passports along with your current passport. Confirm if they need it or not at VFS . Anyhow there are no issues . But you have to have your Birth Certificate Attested By Indian Embassy in Kuwait.

YES to all three questions, you are a citizen of India but a resident of Kuwait (work visa) so that travel is a good thing

To answer your question re: what do they mean when they say travel history: Its simple really. CIC comes from a prespective that all potential temp resident visa applicants are potentially going to overstay and work illegally in Canada. When they say positive travel history , they mean if you have travelled to developed counties before (mainly the western ones). They think that if you have travelled to a western country before and come back without over-staying your visa, there is a good chance that you will do the same and leave Canada once your visa expires.

I just gave you an idea because you were in confusion , but if you have no issues then its perfectly fine to submit it in the present way.

In the form APPLICATION for TRV, SCHEDULE 1----- do i have to mention each and every travel i have made to kuwait? The month and year of travel i can try to get from the passport but i have been in kuwait mostly just for a month or 2 and came bk to india... then again after 6 months , I would travel to kuwait for vacation for a month and come bk...

So do i have to give all these in the travel history space?

My wife got her first visitor visa back in 2007.. and since then, she has been renewing it.. with no major problems!!
She has been here for over 10 times, never overstayed.. this is a good travel record right?

With this information, is still possible for the VO to believe that she might not leave the country if we apply for her OWP?

Anything is possible....

Having said that, the chances of her being declined are very slim because she has proven (multiple times) that she is not going to violate the terms of her visa
