Hello everyone,

I am filling out travel history portion now and I am wondering if I have to add transfers while going back from my country of residence to my country of birth?
I am from Japan and was studying in school in Canada - whenever I went back to Japan, I transferred in US.
I am not sure if I have to include this transfer in US as a "travel" as I literally spent 3 hours maximum in US.

Kindly let me know!

I'll be very surprised if they would want such details. It is like asking you whether you've traveled to cities within the same country. They only care to know where you were and your final destination and how long you stayed there.

If by transfer, you mean time spent in transit at an airport, then you don't have to declare, but if you have visited any country other than your country of origin and residence (i.e., got an entry stamp on your passport and exited the airport), then you have to mention those details in your travel history.
