I came to Canada for masters in September 2011, so Canada became my country of residence. Should I include this in my travel history?

its good to include that. i have done that in mine.

when you came to canada so canada was the country of residence but from where u came becomes the cuntry of origin

WITH THIS LOGIC. I INCLUDED THAT TRAVEL AND KEPT IT AS ONGOING

ps

we have to mention everything which was stamped on our passport hence the initial trip will be counted

thanks

Hi,

The passport also contains stamps of trips to Canada when Canada was the country of residence. Do these need to be included?

Thanks!

Yes you should. Canada is your country of residence now and any trips taken out of your country of residence or origin should be included.

That's not correct exactly. You do not need to include any travel between your country of residence and country of origin except the first trip you did to current country of residence

For example, if you are originally from India (Country of Origin) and now working/studying in Canada (Country of residence), you do not need to include any trips between Canada and India, except the first trip you did to Canada from India

For me, I am a Singaporean national (country of citizenship) originally from Sri Lanka now living in Canada. When I applied, I did not include any trips I took between Canada and Sri Lanka. I have also lived in Singapore, Luxembourg and UK before and I never included any trips to Sri Lanka from those countries except the first trip where my residence was changed
