Hi

I got Invitation to apply under CEC in Feb 2015. I submitted my application with out putting Travel History as I didnt travelled outside of my country of origin or residence.

All my life I travelled out of countries are Came to Canada (Country of residence) from India (Country of origin) for study and work and travelled back and forth.

My friend is saying that it is mandatory to mention these travels as well in the Travel history section.

Please Advise?

Thanks

In that form you will have to write down all trips you did, business, pleasure (Very short stays)..Likewise, you do not have to write e.g two or three years when you were a student in Canada, as soon you passed the 6 months mark you are considered a resident.

I haven't read the actual form you might have, but in the past it was important not to leave any gaps in your history. This is all part of security screening so don't leave anything to chance.

100% agree Pippin, however I saw few cases where people actually wrote the # of days while studying in canada in this travel history, e.g 765 ish days.

Hi,

This has got me thinking, can I ask a question please?

I have a Canada open work permit (spouse of an international student), He started school in Canada last September, but I have been in and out of Canada since then, Can my country of residence be Canada on my EE profile? Please note that I will be going to stay in Canada from next month.
