Hi All,

As we have to mention all our travel history in the online application after receiving the ITA, I had a question regarding that. I live in Dubai for the past 9 years and I am from India.

It says mention all your travel history you have done outside the country of residence or origin. I have taken multiple trips from Dubai to India on vacations each year that I get. So I can exclude those? Since those are between my country of residence and origin?

I have mentioned all my other trips that I have taken between all other countries.

It's easier if they are, but as cic instructs you don't have to mention travel between country of residence and country of citizenship.

Thanks!

I have been trying to find out everything about this since the time I posted this question and I have come across various different opinions.. some say yes u have to .. some say you don't, so I am truly confused!

So here is my theory, the travel history is basically for background checks in my opinion. The reason I think we don't have to mention the travel between the country of residence and the country of origin is because CIC already asks for police clearance certificates from those 2 places anyways which everyone gives and that should suffice as a valid BG check.. (This is completely my opinion.. I might be wrong but this is what I think)

Bumping this thread. This forum is really a big help!

I am preparing my SINP application and one of the documents there is IMM5562E Supplementary Information-Your Travel. Initially, I have listed in an excel all my travels (all stamps) in my passport and got more than 70 entries if I include the in and out between my country of origin and country of residence.

After reading the form carefully and finding this thread when I remembered someone already posted it weeks ago, I was down to 15 only :)

I will keep the excel list for future reference though.
